Trouble typeC7327: Output tray exhaust fan failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the fan, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Output tray exhaust fan (FM18)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM18-relay CN701-BASEB CN18E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of FM18 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. FM18 conduction check.
    • Control signal: BASEB CN18E-4 (REM), BASEB CN18E-6 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 14-K
  4. Replace FM18.
  5. Replace BASEB.
