Trouble detection conditionThe tray 2 upper limit sensor (PS14) does not change even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after tray 2 is opened and closed, after C0204 (Tray 2 feeder up/down abnormality) is detected.
Trouble isolationTray 2
Relevant electrical parts– Tray 2 upper limit sensor (PS14)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between PS14-relay CN155B-PFTDB CN12 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Replace PS14.
  3. Replace PFTDB.
