Trouble typeC7113: Tray 3 lift-up motor failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the motor, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolationTray 3
Relevant electrical parts– Tray 3 lift-up motor (M23)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M23-PFTDB CN15 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M23 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. M23 conduction check.
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN15-4 (REM)
    • Location of electrical component: 9-X
  4. Replace M23.
  5. Replace PFTDB.
