Trouble typeC7164: ADU transport motor/2 failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the motor, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-ADU transport motor/2 (M32)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M32-relay CN199-relay CN166A-PFTDB CN28 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M32 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. M32 conduction check.
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN28-10 to 13
    • Location of electrical component: 3-P
  4. Replace M32.
  5. Replace PFTDB.
