Trouble typeC7320: IU cooling fan/in failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the fan, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– IU cooling fan/in (FM16)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM16-relay CN700-BASEB CN18E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of FM16 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. FM16 conduction check.
    • Control signal: BASEB CN18E-7 (REM), BASEB CN18E-9 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 14-K
  4. Replace FM16.
  5. Replace BASEB.
